Once again, in the picturesque Carpathian Mountains, at the enchanting Bukovel ski resort, the Bukovel-2024 Spring Academic School will take place from May 29 to June 1, 2024.

IMPLEMENTING INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION, BUSINESS, AND LAW ON UKRAINE’S PATH TO EUROPEAN INTEGRATION

The ongoing process of European integration opens up new opportunities for the educational and scientific communities. Education and science play a key role in laying the foundation for the development of democratic values, the protection of human rights, and the implementation of innovations.

The focus of the Bukovel 2024 Spring Academic School is on international scientific and pedagogical internships and professional development (internships) for academic and teaching staff at higher education institutions, research associates at scientific institutions, doctoral candidates, graduate students, applicants, and anyone interested in the following areas:

General Focus:
Module 1. Strategic and Crisis Management for University Leaders.
Module 2. Building an Interactive University and Managing Innovative Educational Programs.
Module 3. Cultural Communication and Strategies in International Research and Educational Projects.
Professional track:
Module 4. Business Development: From Strategies to Resources.
Module 5. Modern Management and Administration Technologies in the Context of Global and National Challenges.
Module 6. Harmonization of Ukrainian legislation with EU law: the path of the Republic of Croatia and lessons for legal reforms in Ukraine.
The internship is worth 6 ECTS credits (180 hours). It takes place over six working weeks, 6 hours per day.

To participate in the Bukovel Spring Academic School (BASS 2024), you must:
1. Register via the online form (available at this link or via the QR code at the end of this information sheet).
2. Select a participation option:
a) An international scientific and pedagogical internship in a field selected in accordance with the School’s Program, worth 6 ECTS credits (180 hours), leading to the issuance of an international certificate from a higher education institution of the Republic of Croatia.
Registration fee: 4,000 UAH.
or
b) Professional development (internship) in a field selected in accordance with the School’s Program, worth 6 ECTS credits (180 hours), with a certificate issued by the Western Ukrainian National University.
Registration fee: 2,000 UAH.
3. A mandatory requirement for participation is the preparation of a scientific and methodological report (requirements for the report will be sent to registered participants along with the program).
4. Pay the organizational fee using the payment details that will be sent after registration.
Registration fees will be used to produce international certificates and handouts, as well as to maintain the official information portal.
A portion of the funds will be allocated to support the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Participation Options
– remote (from April 15 through June 1, 2024, inclusive);
or
– hybrid (remotely from April 15 through May 28, and in-person from May 29 through June 1, 2024, in Bukovel, Polianytsia village, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast).
Working languages: Ukrainian, English.
Accommodation costs for participants attending in person in Bukovel from May 29 through June 1, 2024, inclusive, depend on the room category selected and are paid separately.
