Module 3. Cultural communication and strategies in international research and educational projects

  • The Global Education and Leadership Foundation (tGELF) is a dynamic organisation committed to promoting global citizenship and leadership. Founded at the beginning of the 21st century, tGELF empowers young people to become ethical leaders capable of addressing complex global issues. One of its core missions is to promote cultural communication by facilitating intercultural exchanges, multicultural immersion, and virtual platforms for collaboration. These strategies enable young people from different countries to engage in meaningful dialogue and develop empathy and intercultural competence. By fostering mutual respect and understanding, tGELF is developing a more inclusive and interconnected global community where cultural diversity is celebrated and harnessed as a source of strength and innovation.

  • The Global Case Study Challenge (GCSC) serves as a platform to foster intercultural collaboration and solve global problems through dialogue among students from around the world. Through this initiative, participants tackle real-world problems that span diverse cultural contexts, fostering cultural communication and understanding. The GCSC uses strategies such as team projects, virtual collaboration tools, and intercultural workshops to foster dialogue and collaboration between participants from different cultural backgrounds. By engaging in collaborative problem-solving, students develop empathy, respect and appreciation for cultural diversity. In addition, the GCSC encourages the exchange of ideas and perspectives through case studies, research presentations, and interactive discussions, which foster a deeper understanding of global issues and promote meaningful intercultural engagement.
