DAAD – For 14 years, Ukraine has been actively participating in the programs of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), which facilitates the mobility of students, graduate students, and faculty members and provides talented young people from around the world with the opportunity to complete research internships or pursue professional development in Germany. Programs: traditional scholarship programs; the Viadrina University program; special programs; support for specialized German language courses; the lecturer program; short- and long-term visiting professorships (Kurzzeit- und Langzeitdozenturen); visiting lecturerships (Gastdozenturen); support for inter-university partnerships; support for partnerships between German studies institutes; support for English-language courses.
Ternopil National Economic University offers international integrated programs that promote the internationalization of education, such as the English-language program in International Economics, the Ukrainian-Dutch faculty program, the Ukrainian-German faculty program, the Ukrainian-American program in Computer Science, the Ukrainian-Greek Master of Business Administration program, and the Ukrainian-Polish program.
Students in the Ukrainian-German joint degree program in “International Economics” have the opportunity to study for one semester in Germany at the Technical University of Dresden at no cost. They receive a scholarship from the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service).

Goethe-Institut –In 2013, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed to promote the German language in Ukraine, and agreements were reached regarding: supporting the reform of the Ukrainian education system in the field of foreign language teaching; supporting the quality of German language instruction in Ukrainian educational institutions; and participating in the improvement of the system of postgraduate teacher training for German language teachers.

Our German Language Activities
The project “Supporting the Improvement of Legal Education and the Development of Human Rights Education in Ukraine” – was developed by the OSCE Project Coordinator. The project aims to develop legal education and human rights education in Ukraine by creating the necessary conditions for improving teaching methods and applying modern approaches to the instruction of legal disciplines.
