The non-governmental organization "Ukrainian-American Association of Higher Education Professionals" is launching a series of international educational training programs aimed at enhancing the professional skills of faculty members
The goal of the training programs is to promote international cooperation in the field of cutting-edge educational technologies and to increase mobility among faculty and researchers at higher education institutions on all continents.
As part of the program, a scientific and practical seminar titled “Innovation and Communication Technologies in Higher Education” is scheduled to take place on June 8–13, 2015.
The seminar will focus on the following main areas:
- Distance education: the era of online technology;
- International scholarships and grants: exchange of expertise;
- The latest tools and technologies for the professional development of higher education faculty.
The seminar will feature “roundtable discussions,” master classes, and training sessions on the topics outlined.
The project’s target audience: faculty members at higher education institutions in Ukraine and abroad; representatives of associations and organizations of scholars and educators specializing in issues of educational integration; public and private institutions that provide educational and training services in the field of integrating education into the global arena.
Faculty: Ukrainian and international experts on current issues in higher education development and the promotion of educational reforms; grant recipients from international programs and foundations.
The seminar is being held in Ukraine at the Bukovel tourist and resort complex in the Carpathian Mountains.
