The fifth international educational and training program, the Spring Bukovel Academic School (BASS-2019), entitled “The Ukrainian Educational Dimension in the Context of Integrating the National Higher Education System into the Global Academic Space,” has concluded.
Seventy representatives from higher education institutions in Ukraine, Moldova, the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, Canada, Italy, the United States, and Japan participated in the school’s activities.
The program’s goal is to analyze international best practices in foreign language teaching, to study universities’ experience working with international students, to familiarize participants with new teaching technologies in the context of the contemporary challenges of a globalized educational environment, and to implement these findings in Ukrainian higher education institutions.
The program participants expressed their conviction that a large segment of Ukrainian society and educators are committed to joining the European and global communities in order to address global challenges and crises in both Ukrainian and international educational practice.
Only coordinated cooperation with leading universities around the world and the internationalization of educational programs will yield significant results in addressing today’s global educational and social challenges.
