On March 20, the Western Ukrainian National University, with the support of the NGO \u201cUkrainian-American Association of Higher Education Professionals,\u201d hosted the 18th International Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scholars and Students \u201cInnovative Processes of Economic and Sociocultural Development: Domestic and International Experience,\u201d organized by the Department of International Economic Relations at the B.D. Gavrylyshyn Educational and Research Institute of International Relations.<\/p>\n

Andriy Krysovaty, president of the Ukrainian-American Association of Higher Education Professionals, opened the conference\u2019s plenary session. In his welcoming remarks, he emphasized the important role of young people in the formation and development of our country, quoting an inspiring saying by Bohdan Hawrylyshyn: \u201cDream big,\u201d for young people are the driving force of our nation, its patriotic core, and the future of Ukraine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Olga Khoma, Head of the Department of Education and Science of the Ternopil Regional State Administration, also addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech, Ulyana Koruts, Vice Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work at ZUNU; Lyudmyla Havryliuk-Jensen, Director of the B.D. Havrylyshyn Institute of International Economic Relations at ZUNU; and the department\u2019s international partners.<\/p>\n

While moderating the conference, Roman Zvarych, chair of the Department of International Economic Relations, emphasized the importance of such events for strengthening scientific cooperation between different countries, exchanging ideas, and advancing interdisciplinary research.<\/p>\n

The conference was attended by more than 400 representatives from all regions of Ukraine, as well as from the Netherlands, Canada, South Africa, the United States, Denmark, China, and Poland.<\/p>\n

Following the conference, a collection of scientific papers was compiled, containing over 200 abstracts.<\/p>\n

The presentations by all participants were interesting, relevant, and informative, sparking a lively discussion among the academic community, students, and conference guests.<\/p>\n
